We Respect Your Privacy

Yadkin Bank and affiliates (Corporate Family) include many types of financial service providers, such as banks, mortgage companies and investment companies.

It is the policy of the Bank to adhere to the requirements set forth in Reg. P. As a financial service provider we recognize and respect that our customers expect and deserve privacy of all confidential information that has been entrusted to us. We have established policies and procedures to protect the confidentiality of information about all our customers who obtain products and services from us.  These practices apply equally to both current and former customers. We maintain standards to ensure that the information is used only for appropriate business reasons in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We are committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy regarding the collection and use of our customers’ personal information, as well as personal information of all consumers who visit our institution and Website.


About Our Privacy Notice

In compliance with Regulation P, Yadkin Bank (the Bank) and affiliates provides an initial Privacy Notice to all new customers at the time a new banking relationship is established. A notice is mailed to all customers annually and the notice is provided on the bank’s Website.

The notice applies to consumers who obtain financial products or services for personal, family or household purposes.  The examples found throughout the Notice are for purposes of illustration only and should not be considered a complete description of our information practices. When the term “information” is used in the notice, it means information about customers that is not publicly available. The notice summarizes our consumer privacy policies and practices and certain rights consumers have under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, such as:

  • Confidentiality of customer information.
  • Types of information we collect and maintain about our customers and potential customers, and how
    we use it.
  • Accuracy of information about our customers and their accounts.
  • Types of information that the Bank shares with affiliates, service providers and third parties with joint
    marketing agreements.
  • Security of information on the Internet and through electronic systems.

Special Information Applicable to Electronic (Internet) Banking

Yadkin Bank's “Privacy Policy” will apply to customers’ confidential and private information with regard to both traditional and non-traditional (i.e., Internet) banking activities. 

However, due to the unique nature of the Internet and the ease with which information can be exchanged, we feel it is important for customers to be aware of the unique issues surrounding Internet Banking. To protect the privacy of our Internet Banking customers, the Bank:

  • collects generic information about visitors to our website. This information includes the date and time of access, the Internet service provider’s address, the web browser used, and the visitor’s physical location.
  • requires customers to utilize specific passwords for access to confidential and private information. We remind customers of their responsibility to safeguard login IDs and passwords. In addition, commercial customers should carefully screen those employees to whom user IDs and passwords are granted.
  • utilizes encryption, firewall, router, third party verification procedures and other security software and hardware to help prevent unauthorized eavesdropping of and access to customers’ confidential and private information.
  • utilizes virus protection software to help prevent the spread of computer viruses.
  • utilizes “cookies” to help authenticate our customers’ identities and to help facilitate the exchange of information between Yadkin Bank systems and our customers’ systems.
